Bond Beebe Principals Published in the IFEBP’s Benefits Magazine

Bond Beebe, a certified public accounting and advisory firm with offices in Bethesda, Maryland and Alexandria, Virginia, announced that two of their Principals, Scott M. Price and Lawrence R. Beebe, have published articles in the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans’ (“IFEBP”) Benefits Magazine.  The IFEBP is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to being a leading objective and independent global source of employee benefits, compensation and financial literacy education and information; Benefits Magazine is a monthly publication that addresses benefit issues affecting multiemployer, single employer and public employee plan representatives.

Price co-authored “Trustee, Employee Compensation Reporting Demystified” with Robert M. Projansky, Partner at Proskauer Rose LLP.  The article clarified recent guidance issued by the US Department of Labor concerning employee benefit plan reporting requirements.  Beebe authored “Benefit Basics: Reasons for a Payroll Audit,” which explained the reasons payroll audits are necessary for multiemployer plans.  This article is an excerpt from the IFEBP’s Trustees Handbook, Seventh Edition, which is slated to be published in the Fall of 2011.
