David P. Dorsey

David Dorsey, CPA, is a partner with over 30 years of experience specializing in providing services to national and international multiemployer funds and labor organizations. He is highly regarded among his peers for his expertise in this area. In addition, David brings a broad background in financial, forensic accounting, compliance auditing and management consulting. Prior to joining the Firm, David was the Managing Partner of Bond Beebe, which joined with Withum in August 2017.

David adheres to a strong client-focused perspective and has developed expertise in all aspects of compliance and financial reporting for national, international and benefit funds labor organizations and their related Taft Hartley employee benefit plans. Beyond being an industry authority on compliance and financial auditing, David performs highly specialized work in forensic and operational auditing, often being called upon to testify as an expert witness. He speaks regularly for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP), attending seminars and conferences sponsored by international labor organizations.

David holds a CPA in Maryland but also in the District of Columbia, New York, New Jersey and holds a current Practice Privilege License in California as well. His memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA), member, speaker and author for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP), former Chair for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans Professionals Committee and Advisory Director (IFEBP).
