Bond Beebe Welcomes Leslie Kirsch as Senior Manager of Bond Beebe Forensics

Bond Beebe, a certified public accounting and advisory firm with offices in Bethesda, Maryland and Alexandria, Virginia, is pleased to welcome Leslie Kirsch as Senior Manager for Bond Beebe Forensics. “We are thrilled to have Leslie join our world-class team of anti-fraud professionals,” said David Dorsey, President. “We look forward to continuing to improve our ability to provide our clients with top-notch fraud prevention and investigation services.” Ms. Kirsch will serve the firm’s growing base of clients located in the DC metro area and throughout the country.

Ms. Kirsch joins Bond Beebe with more than a decade of experience in the government and private sector conducting fraud, waste, and abuse audits and investigations on a wide variety of topics, including personal and organizational conflicts of interest; employee embezzlement and theft; federal contractor/grantee eligibility fraud and integrity issues; federal tax collection program integrity; abuse of government purchase cards, travel cards, and premium class travel privileges; employment of sex offenders and child abusers at schools and child care facilities; passport application fraud; and the manufacture and marketing of herbal dietary supplements. She specializes in the prevention, detection, and investigation of occupational fraud, including through the use of innovative technologies such as IDEA and SAS. Her work has resulted in hundreds of referrals to law enforcement agencies, as well as numerous congressional testimonies.

Ms. Kirsch also has served as an instructor and facilitator for a wide variety of classes on topics such as fraud detection and prevention, cybersecurity and information technology, data analytics, psychology of white collar criminals, audit quality assurance procedures, GAGAS audit design, interviewing techniques for auditors and investigators, evaluation of audit evidence, principles of effective feedback for supervisors, and process improvement in the workplace. She is the D.C.-Metro area’s leading private instructor on the use of IDEA in audit and investigative applications. She is recognized as a thought leader on fraud and security topics by the Business Learning Institute and serves on the Board of Directors of the Washington D.C. chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Ms. Kirsch is accredited as a Certified Fraud Examiner by the ACFE, a Certified IDEA Data Analyst by Caseware International, and is a SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9.
