Bond Beebe Employees raise Over $2,700 to Support Cancer Research

For the second consecutive year, Bond Beebe, a certified public accounting and advisory firm with offices in Bethesda, Maryland and Alexandria, Virginia, participated in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk which took place in Rockville, Maryland on October  22, 2011. The Firm’s team of 40 employees raised over $2,700 to support cancer research.  Light the Night Walk is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s annual fundraising event that pays tribute and brings hope to people battling cancer; the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) funds lifesaving research that has contributed to major advances in the treatment of blood and other types of cancer.

“The energy and support of the walkers on the night of the event showed the impact our fundraising has on the lives of those affected by cancer,” said Emily Melton, an Audit Associate and the 2011 Bond Beebe Light the Night Team Co-Captain.  “It’s an exciting event that we look forward to supporting in the future.”
